Sonic Hiring for Fast Food Jobs in Connecticut

Posted on June 15, 2010

Sonic, the chain popular for its drive-in and inexpensive food, has announced that they are hiring for a variety of fast food jobs in Connecticut.

The fast food chain plans on holding jobs fairs in Wallingford on Tuesday and Thursday. They expect a large showing due to the economy.

Sonic is hoping to fill about 100 full and part-time positions for their restaurant on Colony Rd, among others. A second Sonic is planned for Manchester, although details are scant on the location and timing of the opening.

The kinds of positions available are car hops, who skate out to the cars with trays of food (and sometimes get tips), fast food preparers, and managers.

Sonic had this to say about the new openings on their Connecticut web site: SONIC® is coming to Connecticut, and new positions are open in the first location in Wallingford. SONIC® of Connecticut is looking for a diverse team for its Wallingford staff. We need managers and assistant managers to lead the team through its day-to-day operations and Carhops and crew members to make service as fast and friendly as possible. No matter your talent, SONIC® of Connecticut is looking for a team of hard-working members who like to have fun on the job.
