Oakleaf has announced it is recruiting for waste management jobs in Connecticut.
The company was given $3 million from Connecticut last year as an effort to keep its headquarters stationed in CT.
Oakleaf said it will be hiring around 15 people for various jobs, including information technology, finance, customer service, and account management.
HartfordBusiness.com reports:
Last year Oakleaf moved its East Hartford home base to the former American Airlines building in Windsor, and received a $3 million grant from the state after the company threatened to take its 387 jobs out of Connecticut.
As part of the move, Oakleaf agreed to add 40 positions to its Connecticut workforce of 387. The company recently laid off six workers, but says it will meet its commitment to add the 40 new jobs within five years.
