The merger of two companies may mean more marketing jobs in Chicago, according to a recent news item.
Legacy Marketing Partners, a marketing agency, has acquired Kambio Group, a digital marketing agency.
Kambio Group was founded in 2011 by Ed Swiderski and Jess Loren who join Legacy as senior vice presidents. In addition, Kambio’s team of digital strategists will join Legacy. Since its founding, Kambio has built a growing expertise with social media activation and monitoring, web design, content management and technology activation.
Jess Loren, co-founder of Kambio, said, “We’re excited about joining Legacy and expanding their digital marketing capabilities. We think there are great opportunities to partner with Legacy’s Fortune 500 client base to extend their reach and create measurable value in the digital world. It’s a logical way to extend the dialogue between brands and their audiences.”
“With our strategic acquisition of Kambio and the addition of their seasoned leadership team, Legacy will be able to provide real-time digital marketing solutions on a bigger scale to our clients,” said Vince Parrinello, CEO of Legacy. “We also believe this is the direction our industry is going,” he added.
Headquartered in Chicago, IL, Legacy has 350 employees located in 45 markets nationwide. Clients include Pernod Ricard, Crown Imports, General Electric, Navistar, Cabela’s, L’Oreal Paris and Ferrero U.S.A., among others.
