Barton Associates plans to expand, create Connecticut healthcare jobs

Barton Associates said this week it fully expects to be expanding and hiring for Connecticut healthcare jobs in the coming year.
The company said it experienced significant growth in the locum tenens Hospitalist staffing market in 2011.
The company said the growth is due to :
– Hospitalist programs are a key selling point for healthcare facilities and can lead to increased admissions and increased revenue.
– Hospitalist programs provide facilities with an opportunity to implement efficient processes and effective cost control strategies when compared to the traditional model.
– Hospitalist programs can lead to higher quality and more efficient patient care when compared to the traditional model.
In 2011, Barton Associates developed Hospitalist teams in Connecticut and Florida (in addition to an existing team in Massachusetts) to effectively manage increased demand. Barton Associates is currently planning to add an additional Hospitalist team on the West Coast in the 2012-2013 timeframe to support continued growth in the market.
